Thomas Letsch: "Couldn't afford to do anything wrong" in Bayern Munich win

VfL Bochum managed to win 3-2 against Bayern Munich is a shock victory in the Bundesliga.

Goals from Takuma Asano and Keven Schlotterbeck in the first half helped the home side to turnaround a 1-0 deficit via an early Jamal Musiala strike.

Later on, a Kevin Stöger penalty put Bochum 3-1 up just a minute after Dayot Upamecano got a red card.

After the tie, Bochum manager Thomas Letsch said: "It's good that we picked up three points today. And to beat a team of excellent quality like Bayern, we couldn't afford to do anything wrong."

This win marked the first time Thomas Letsch has even managed a point against Bayern Munich as Bochum manager. The last two games against the Bavarians, his side conceded ten goals.
